Description

M103 is one of the more distant globular clusters at about 10,000 light years away and ranging 15 light years apart. There are 40 member stars within M103 two of which have magnitudes of 10.5 and a red giant at 10.8.

M103 is about 25 million years old.

This image is a close cropped image of the open cluster in the constellation of Cassiopeia.
